Pinocchio, the 1940 Walt Disney classic, has been a staple in many a kid's life because of its beloved protagonist. To hear that the actor who voiced the beloved character has passed is deeply saddening.
Richard Jones, known as Dick Jones on screen, passed away Monday night in his Northridge, California home, according to the Los Angeles County coroner's office. No cause of death has been determined yet.
Jones, whose acting career started at the young age of three years old made over 200 TV appearances in shows like The Lone Ranger, and Gunsmoke. He even had his own western series, Buffalo Bill, Jr. in the 1950s.
Jones is survived by his wife and four kids.
