First the Pope wanted to exchange his Popemobile for something a little greener and more technologically advanced, now the Pontiff is giving the world advice on how to behave when social networking online.
In his speech at the celebration of the 45th World Communications Day, Pope Benedict urged all Catholics to join social-networking sites as a way to meet new people and to spread the Good Word. But he had a warning for the youth dem. He implored young Catholics to be "authentic and faithful, and not give in to the illusion of constructing an artificial public profile for oneself." He also warned of creating a "parallel existence" in an online world.
His Holiness went on to say:
Sounds to us like the Pope just sat through a viewing of Catfish.
