As Election Day draws to a close, celebrities across the country have taken to social media to promote civic engagement among their fans. Some posted selfies taken at the polling station or with "I Voted" stickers; others threw their support behind key state candidates; while many simply shared messages about the importance of voting. 

Take a look below to see how the world's biggest stars participated in the 2018 midterm elections and whom they'll be rooting for throughout the night. Houston natives Beyoncé and Travis Scott co-signed Texas Democratic Senate candidate Beto O'Rourke; Lil Yachty and T.I. endorsed Georgia's Democratic gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abram; and Rihanna encouraged fans to cast their vote for Andrew Gillum, who's looking to become Florida's first black governor.
