A doctor who was out and about in New York on Wednesday night has today tested positive for Ebola virus, CNN is reporting via a law enforcement official.
The doctor, 33-year-old Craig Spencer, recently returned to NYC after treating patients with Ebola in West Africa as part of a Doctors Without Borders operation. He was placed in isolation at Bellevue Hospital in Manhattan this morning.

Spencer reportedly developed symptoms on Wednesday night, the same night officials say he took an Uber to the Brooklyn Bowl in Williamsburg.
The Associated Press reports that Spencer's apartment in Harlem has been closed off, and detectives are working to trace his contacts and see who might be at risk of infection.
