The undisputed champion of the white-guy afro is bringing The Joy of Painting to a whole new generation through Twitch.
The extremely popular streaming video service—normally used for watching other people play video games—announced in a blog that Bob Ross's The Joy of Painting will now be a regular on the service after 5.6 million people watched it during a recent marathon of all 403 episodes.
The original run of the series went from 1983 to 1994 on PBS, during which time we estimate that Ross painted about 10 trillion "happy little trees" and "happy little clouds," and helped countless adults, children and stoners mellow out with his insanely soothing voice.
The late Ross, who apparently never got paid a dime for the show, will now appear on Twitch every Monday night, now dubbed "Bob Ross Night," from 6 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. EST
They're also going to have an annual marathon of the entire series every year on Oct. 29 to honor Ross' birthday.
