Maybe CBS is angling to expand it's audience beyond old folks getting their fix of prime time acronym dramas, from CSI to NCIS to NCIS: Los Angeles.
Your grandma's favorite network (and the most watched network on TV, haters) will get a guest appearance from Kid Cudi next week on the new, high-tech drama Scorpion. The show is about a team of super smart problem solvers, including the T-1000 and the guy who bangs Stifler's mom.
Cudi plays a musical prodigy who invented an algorithm to "aggregate data from every hit pop song" in order to churn out even more mathematically perfect pop hits.
The clip does include a quick burn on Macklemore, who we all know sounds an awful lot like Cudi, especially on "Thin Line." It also reunites Cudi with his former How To Make It In America (RIP) co-star Eddie Kaye Thomas (referenced above as the banger of Stifler's mom).
Entertainment Weekly reports that Method Man will also appear in the episode as a hip-hop manager who may have stolen Cudi's algorithm.
