Wilma! Breaking news today of the breaking rocks variety: Family Guy creator Seth MacFarlane will reboot legendary animated series The Flintstones for Fox television, with the potential for future film installments as well.
The reboot is a passion project for MacFarlane, who ran into trouble getting the rights from Warner Bros. Television and Hanna-Barbera. It seems both parties were concerned about MacFarlane's Family Guy past and his level of raunchiness.
No word yet on when the show will launch, but expect to see it on Fox in the not-so-near future.
