Jess started gaming in 1989 at the ripe age of six years old. When she received her first, second-hand NES, "I remember my Aunt saying 'It's buggy, but it works.'" I didn't go near it for the first few days because I thought there were actual bugs in it."

It wasn't until 1996 when she plugged into the Internet that Jess experienced the world of PC gaming. "Thinking back,” she said, “I don't even know how I managed to game on my first computer. I think I had 8MB of RAM." Almost a decade later, she discovered MMORPGs and suffered from online gaming addiction for 2 years. "I only really stopped when my guild fell apart. I had no one to play with and I wasn't about to start recruiting again."

Jess' love for video games hasn't faded but has evolved into a a career in writing about her very passion. We spoke to her all about it in our interview with her.

What type of gamer are you, hardcore or casual?

I used to be considered hard-core, putting 40 plus hours a week into MMORPGs. These days I don't have as much time to game as I'd like but I still make a point to play a few times a week. The bots can't pwn themselves.

What is your favorite game and why?

My favorite game is probably Guild Wars. I've been beta testing the sequel and I don't mind saying I'm more excited about that than any other game coming out this year. Guild Wars was my gateway MMO so it'll always be my number one.

Which systems and accessories do you play on/with?

I play mostly on an Alienware M11X with the Razor Naga EPIC MMO gaming mouse and a Sennheiser PC 320 G4ME headset. I also have an Xbox, Ps3, Wii, and a Super NES.

Girls with with guys game should know…

Girls with guys game should know that letting him play undisturbed is important because when you wanna game in peace, you can remind him of the time you let him play Diablo for ten hours straight without bitching.

What’s next for you as a model?

To be honest, I'm not that into modeling. Meaning, it's not my main focus. If a cool opportunity arises I'll take part, but I typically try to stay out of the limelight.
