After waiting some 20-odd years for the honor he so rightfully deserved, it's finally happened for Leonardo DiCaprio: the man's won his Oscar. Taking it home for his performance in The Revenant, for which he won a haul of damn-near every other possible award, Leo celebrated accordingly with what we can safely assume was a group of attractive friends harem of models—but not before having his Oscar inscribed.
Following his win Leo was congratulated by friend, Titanic co-star, and long-time Oscars snub support system Kate Winslet, who'd predicted his win. "I feel very strongly that it may possibly be Leo’s year," she toldVanity Fair just weeks ago. "He is my closest friend in the world and I just couldn’t imagine not being there to support him." He then took the Oscars stage, gave a speech he's been sitting on for the better part of two decades, and then was invited to partake in the winner's ritual of watching his name get stamped on a plaque.
"They do this every year," someone off-screen says to Leo as he looks on. "I wouldn't know," he replies. He then asks all the requisite questions of how to properly care for an Oscar, and it's admittedly pretty adorable. Congrats man, we were all rooting for you.
