New details have reportedly emerged in the unexpected death of Bob Saget.

A source close to the investigation told TMZ the comedian passed away peacefully in his sleep. Saget was allegedly “tucked in bed” with the lights off in his room when hotel security discovered his body Sunday afternoon at the Ritz-Carlton in Orlando. The outlet adds that it was told the 65-year-old “had just gotten over COVID...but people close to him say he seemed fine in the days before he died.”

The news arrives two days after an autopsy was completed. The Orange County Sheriff’s Office on Monday released a death investigation report, which stated that the Full House star was found dead lying face up on his bed with no signs of trauma.

“At this time, there is no evidence of drug use or foul play,” Chief Medical Examiner Joshua Stephany said in a statement. “The cause and manner of death are pending further studies and investigation which may take up to 10-12 weeks to complete. Our condolences go out to Mr. Saget’s loved ones during this difficult time.”

Earlier today, deputies were called to the Ritz-Carlton Orlando, Grande Lakes for a call about an unresponsive man in a hotel room. The man was identified as Robert Saget & pronounced deceased on scene. Detectives found no signs of foul play or drug use in this case. #BobSaget pic.twitter.com/aB1UKiOlmi
