A zombie apocalypse can take a lot out of a man. And when the core group in The Walking Dead haven't been saying the same things about the meaning of life over and over again or burying people they barely know, they've been fighting walkers (also, humans) to the brink of survival.
The handsome Southern police officer has been beaten out of Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln), Carl (Chandler Riggs) is no longer a boy (he's worse, and he wears a hat now), and Shane (Jon Bernthal) is... a zombie. Mostly though, the end of civilization has left everyone looking much more moist than they did in Seasons 1 and 2.
