Paul Rudd wants to hear from you. The Ant-Man star said that Marvel fans need to make noise if they want to see him play the superhero a third time.

Rudd told Yahoo! that he's unsure whether he'll suit up again for another solo movie, calling on fans to get the attention of Marvel execs.

“I don’t know,” Rudd said. “You need to make a call to the top brass and start a campaign to make it happen.”

Of course, Rudd has been known to play tricks on the press and fans. He famously played the same clip of Mac and Me every time he appeared on Conan O'Brien's talk show, regardless of what he was promoting. And before news had surfaced that he would play Ant-Man, he lied to reporters, calling the news nothing more than a rumor.

The second Ant-Man movie, Ant-Man and the Wasp, performed well on a normal scale but was easily dwarfed by almost all Marvel Cinematic Universe releases. Because the movies seem to be a bit more niche than Marvel would like, it's easy to see why Rudd's corner of the Marvel universe might be shuffled off as the company looks to move beyond the first era of the Avengers. Of course, Rudd is a delight and any reason to see more movies with him in them is valid. So, you should expect fans to start making noise about a third Ant-Man right on cue. Until Marvel hears it,Ant-Man vs. The Fly will have to suffice.
