Young M.A Review, Wale's Label Woes, Rappers Today More Likely One-Hit Wonders? | Everyday Struggle

On Wednesday’s (Oct. 2) episode of #EverydayStruggle, Nadeska, Wayno and DJ Akademiks start off the show reviewing Young M.A’s debut album, ‘Herstory in the Making.’ Soon after, the crew weighs in on Wale’s recent label troubles with the mishandling of his album rollout for his upcoming LP ‘Wow...That’s Crazy.’  Later in the show, the EDS trio speaks on 50 Cent’s recent interview with The Hollywood Reporter where he opened up about the current state of hip-hop, and how artists are more likely to disappear after their first hit than to have longevity. The crew also weigh in on Meek Mill’s recent tweets about labels locking in new artists, and how those artists would rather have label control over their careers.
