In the dramatic and dimly lit new trailer for Godzilla: King of the Monsters, giant monsters get ready to fight one another after wreaking havoc on the human population. Check it out above.

The sequel to Gareth Edwards' 2014 film Godzilla stars Kyle Chandler, Vera Farmiga, Millie Bobby Brown, Bradley Whitford, Charles Dance, Thomas Middleditch, O'Shea Jackson Jr., and Chinese actress Zhang Ziyi—alongside the only two original cast members Sally Hawkins and Ken Watanabe. Michael Dougherty is taking over as director.

This movie takes place five years after the 2014 version, and humans are still trying to coexist/survive after these giant monsters first began running around. In the new trailer we see government officials and everyone else freaking out, while also trying to scheme up a way to get Godzilla to protect them. The monsters, on the other hand, seem totally unbothered by human diplomacy as they prepare for their voracious showdown.

Below are a few stills of the giant creatures who will be battling it out in the latest Godzilla creation.

The battle between the good kaiju and bad ones features classic enemies from the original Japanese-produced Toho series. These include the three-headed beast King Ghidorah, the giant insect named Mothra, another weird flying monster name Rodan, and the titular Godzilla.
