'Game of Thrones' Star Nathalie Emmanuel Says Final Season is 'Heartbreaking'

Nathalie Emmanuel, who portrays Missandei on the hit HBO show, promises that the final season of 'Game of Thrones' will be "incredibly satisfying for people."

Game of Thrones will come to an end next year with its eighth season, and some of the cast already know exactly how it's going to end. With fans expected to wait around a year for the final six episodes of the hit HBO series, yet another cast member has made it their mission to make the wait all the more painful. Nathalie Emmanuel, who portrays Missandei on the show, says that the last episodes of the show are pretty special indeed.

In a new interview with the Hindustan Times, Emmanuel offered up a few promising teases as to what fans can expect from the forthcoming final season of the show. "I think what we can expect from the final season of GoT is just a real push," she teased. "Like in the last couple of seasons, we have seen the pace of the show increase with the stakes getting higher and higher. There are so many storylines that have to come to conclusion. We have to play them out, so the pace of the show is continuing on that sense.”

She doesn't stop there, however, promising that fans will be satisfied with the ending. "There are so many characters and stories that haven't found their conclusion," she explained. "So, this season is going to be incredibly satisfying for people. It is going to be incredibly exciting and heartbreaking. I feel like people will have their mind blown when they watch the final one."

Unfortunately, fans will have to wait until 2019 to have their mind blown.
