Big Narstie is about to get the job he was born to do – becoming the host of his very own TV show – along with viral comedian Mo Gilligan. 'The Big Narstie Show' has now been commissioned for a full series on Channel 4. The six-part show will feature a combination of celebrity chat and straight-talking segments on current affairs, TV, trends, phone-ins, and food.

After gaining a cult following from his ‘Uncle Pain’ segments on Grime Report, Narstie has been thrust into the public eye recently, with appearances on Celebrity Gogglebox and Good Morning Britain made the grime artist go viral.

Syeda Irtizaali, Commissioning Editor, Channel 4 says, “We’re thrilled to work with Big Narstie again, as it’s clear from his previous Channel 4 appearances that he is en route to becoming something of a national treasure. It really feels like an opportunity for a brilliant and ridiculous show which flips the conventional magazine show format on its head.”

Each episode will also see Narstie and Mo being joined by celebrity guests in what's set to be a hilarious late night show on terrestrial television.  Mo has also been commissioned with his very own show by Channel 4, with more information on that imminent.

The Big Narstie show will air on Channel 4 at 11pm this summer. Head here for more info.
