A recent report published in the National Enquirer cited multiple sources, including actor Dominick Brascia, who all confirmed that Charlie Sheen raped the late actor Corey Haim on the set of their 1989 film Lucas. Sheen was 19 years old at the time, while Haim was 13. Sheen has categorically denied the accusation.
"Haim told me he had sex with Sheen when they filmed Lucas," Brascia, who was a longtime friend of Haim, told the tabloid. "He told me they smoked pot and had sex. He said they had anal sex. Haim said after it happened Sheen became very cold and rejected him. When Corey wanted to fool around again, Charlie was not interested."
"Corey was so confused by the sexual encounter he believed, like so many victims, he was 'in love' with his abuser," an anonymous source told the tabloid.
A representative for Sheen said in a statement to the Hollywood Reporter that "Charlie categorically denies these allegations."
According to Jezebel, the claims sound very similar to the following passage from Corey Feldman's 2013 autobiography, Coreyography. Feldman was Haim's best friend and The Goonies co-star, and has recently been very vocal about the sexual abuse that he experienced as a young actor in Hollywood.
"At some point [during the filming of Lucas, Haim] explained an adult male convinced him it was perfectly normal for older men and younger boys in the business to have sexual relations, that it was ‘what all guys do.’ So they walked off to a secluded area between two trailers during a lunch break for the cast and crew, and Haim, innocent and ambitious as he was, allowed himself to be sodomized."
Feldman did not name the "adult male" he was referring to, but he did write that he was "one of the most successful people in the entertainment industry."
According to E! News, an anonymous woman who also worked on set of Lucas also claims Sheen "inappropriately kissed and solicited sex from her." A separate woman claims that Sheen tried to kiss her without her permission after he learned it was her 18th birthday.
The National Enquirer was the publication that broke the news of Sheen’s HIV-positive status.
