Sometimes complaining on Twitter really pays off—that is, if you're a Kardashian-Jenner. Late last month, Kim Kardashian mentioned on Twitter that she had to drive her half-sister Kendall Jenner all over the place because Jenner was having issues with Uber.
Now, TMZ is reporting that Uber's competitor Lyft has swooped in to gain some PR points by offering Jenner free rides for a year. You can see Jenner's reaction to the news below.
Uber and Lyft have quite a history of intense competition. In 2013-14, Uber employees booked and then cancelled over 5,500 Lyft rides as a way of messing with drivers' availability. The companies have also traded allegations of driver poaching.
It may soon be tough for Jenner to find a ride no matter how little she's paying. Her home state of California is considering tough new background restrictions on drivers for ride-hailing services. And relying on Lyft means that Jenner may miss out on getting around in a self-driving car.
