An eight-year-old girl from Ohio has been suspended by her primary school after being caught trying to smoke weed in the toilets.
The girl was discovered by a school employee after she had been attempting to light up a plastic bag which contained the weed and upon being rumbled the girl tried to flush some of the stash down the toilets and any remaining bits into a bin.
According to the Independent, the suspension was originally intended for ten days but has since then been reduced to three. Police chief, Bruce Brooks, said the incident was “eye-opening” and added “It’s a good thing she didn’t know how to [smoke the marijuana].
Family members of the girl told Fox28 they suspect another child “planted” the drugs on her and “told her what to do”.
