Police in New York made an unexpected discovery during a seemingly routine traffic stop earlier this week: over 10,000 bags of heroin.

According to the Associated Press, police in Tarrytown, N.Y. pulled the vehicle over on Tuesday for making an erratic lane change. When 45-year-old Carolyn Claudio and 48-year-old Julio Vargas provided different responses about where they were going, police secured a search warrant. Remarkably, that search produced 10,600 bags of heroin and stamping devices. The Associated Press notes that police say the drugs are worth $25,000 on the street.

Claudio and Vargas were arrested on charges of criminal possession of a controlled substance. They're both being held without bail following their arraignment yesterday.
