Robotics design company Boston Dynamics have built this sick-looking robot dog. Named spot, it’s designed to operate indoors and out, and scale rough terrain—in the video it easily clambers up hills and over rocks, and even walks up concrete stairs. It’s pretty damn impressive.
So what do human do? Kick him over, obviously.
They’re kicking it to show how stable it is—it’s really impressive how it doesn’t fall over—but it just seems so cruel. Yeah, it’s not a real dog, but it walks along like a greyhound, and we can’t help but feel sorry for it…
