Beef always makes for great theater. Some feuds, like the Drizzy vs. Breezy discord, begin as a cold war, escalate to bloodshed, then eventually end in a bromantic truce. Some beef, however, is deeper than rap, and no peace treaty could ever heal the inflicted wounds. Long-time Jon Stewart nemesis Arby's found out the hard way that no white flags will be waving from The Daily Show fortress anytime soon, as the comedian took a few more shots at his least favorite fast food chain.

Here's the tweet from Arby's that served as the opening salvo:

This was clearly meant as a playful jab at Stewart's impending departure from the groundbreaking late night show. But Stewart wasn't having it, launching into a tirade:

To work there would I have to handle, serve, touch eat or even look at what you so generously describe as food? That's right Arby's, this motherfucking thing ain't over. I do not accept your peace offering. We shall always be enemies! For while you are a worthy adversary, you shall be vanquished!

This all could very well be the greatest reverse-psychology marketing ploy of all time, but either way, it's one of the longest running beefs to which we've been fortunate to witness. Your move, Arby's.
