According to a newly released autopsy report, Robin Williams's death has been officially ruled a suicide as no drugs or alcohol were found in his system. The Marin County sheriffs office released the autopsy result this afternoon and had found prescription medication in Williams' system, but in prescribed dosages. 
 
The coroner has ruled the death a suicide resulting from asphyxia due to hanging. Williams took his own life this past August and has publicly acknowledged on many occasions his struggles with substance abuse and depression.Williams' wife Susan Schneider confirmed that he had also been recently diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease. 
 
Williams had his ashes scattered in the San Francisco Bay and is survived by his third wife, Susan Schneider and his three children.
