Three people have died and another three were injured when a stolen vehicle plowed into a crowd in Philadelphia this morning, authorities say.

According to the Philadelphia Inquirer, a woman was carjacked at gunpoint by two men in the city's Germantown section around 11:22 a.m. this morning. During their attempted escape, the driver lost control of the vehicle, crashing into a fruit stand and a crowd of people. The Inquirer reports that a 10-year-old boy was pronounced dead at the scene, while a teenager later died at Temple University Hospital. The Los Angeles Times adds that police spokeswoman Jillian Russell confirmed a third victim's death just before 2 p.m. at St. Christopher's Hospital for Children.

Per the Times, the suspects fled the scene of the accident on foot, and a $40,000 reward is being offered by police for information leading to their arrest.
