So far, the designs for the upcoming Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles film reboot haven’t been well received. Fans have complained about the gaudy outfits and freakish humanlike features on the turtles, while others have mocked the overall shoddy CGI featured in the trailers. But honestly, it’s hard to judge a movie after only brief glimpses of the turtles from a trailer.
Thankfully, Idle Hands has posted images of the movie designs from the upcoming book, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Ultimate Visual History. These images are from the film’s concept art, and should closely represent what we see in the final product. Below, you’ll see the turtles, Splinter, and a pretty pissed off looking Shredder:
