If you’re into talking food and bad language, then we have great news for you. Sausage Party, an R-rated animated film from Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg (who co-wrote Superbad and This is the End), has been given a release date by Sony Pictures Entertainment and Annapurna Pictures.

The movie will premiere in the summer of 2016, and will star Rogen along with a host of well-known comedy names: Jonah Hill, Kristen Wiig, Salma Hayek, Edward Norton, David Krumholtz, Nick Kroll, Michael Cera, James Franco, Craig Robinson, Bill Hader, Anders Holm, Paul Rudd, and Danny McBride.

The plot of the movie is relatively simple. A sausage (Rogen) falls out of a shopping cart, launching an existential quest to discover his true origins and make it back to the proper aisle before the July 4th sale begins.

Considering the only likely end for this grilled treat is getting eaten, it seems like this movie may end up being a little darker than we currently realize.
