FX recently turned a classic movie from the 1990's into a TV series and it looks like Paramount is following suit. The Wrap broke the news that the company is looking to create a show based on 1998's The Truman Show. The movie, if you aren't aware, is about a man who is unaware that his life is a television show broadcast to millions. Although the movie is wonderful, the concept may be better suited as a television series. This gives the story an opportunity for an apropos critique of the current state of reality television.
No word on if and when this will air, so stay tuned.
