HBO says it's renewed VEEP (for Season 4) and SILICON VALLEY (for Season 2).
When Twitter user @snakeyes12 asked why the shows have already gotten renewed after three episodes and very OK ratings, Itzkoff opined that, well, buzz trumps all at HBO.
@snakeyes12 @breakingTVnews HBO likes buzz almost as much as ratings - Silicon Valley certainly has buzz, & the Mike Judge connection.
You gotta remember that this isn't TV. It's HBO.
