Shia LaBeouf has been going through a pretty strange time in his life—plagiarizing artist Daniel Clowes' work, then plagiarizing a series of apologies for the initial plagiarism, to be specific—and this only adds to it. According to his Charlie Countryman co-star and Ron Weasley himself, Rupert Grint, LaBeouf's real-life acid-trip on the set of the film caused some pretty troubling behavior from the actor:

LaBeouf, who recently tweeted that he was "retiring from all public life" after the plagiarism scandal, revealed that he dropped acid on the set of the film back in 2012, saying, "Sometimes, it does get real...too real for a (director) who's trying to keep a diplomatic set." Now, we know: He was talking about seeing owls.
