Just a few days after Shia LaBeouf admitted that all of the sex scenes in his upcoming movie, Nymphomaniac, would be done for real on set, USA Today has posted an interview where the actor says that he actually dropped acid for a scene in his next movie, The Necessary Death of Charlie Countryman.

"There's a way to do an acid trip like Harold & Kumar, and there's a way to be on acid," LaBeouf said. "What I know of acting, Sean Penn actually strapped up to that (electric) chair in Dead Man Walking. These are the guys that I look up to."

The scene required that LaBeouf’s character be high, so he thought the best way to capture that feeling was to actually do it. However, the actor told the site that it was rough trying to work through it.

"Sometimes, it does get real," he admitted of the experience. "Too real for a (director) who's trying to keep a diplomatic set."

So there you have it. We sincerely hope LaBeouf never has a role where he’s supposed to kill anyone in a movie. We can easily see his method acting getting a little out of hand then.
