This news isn't particularly unexpected, but still very sad to hear: According to The Hollywood Reporter, Happy Endings is officially over.

After being canceled by ABC in May, its studio, Sony, tirelessly searched for a new network to pick up the series. USA reportedly showed interest, but that didn't pan out—now that no other offers have presented themselves, the studio has halted their search, and the entire casts' options are set to expire this weekend.

R.I.P., Happy Endings. We hardly knew ye.
