A fear of spiders is understandable, as is the knee-jerk to freak out at the sight of one. However, it doesn't look to good when you freak out at the sight of a spider while reporting the weather, especially if the spider isn't even in the room. Global News meteorologist Kristi Gordon was guilty of this last week when a spider crawled onto the weathercam, perhaps convincing Gordon that she was being attacked by a giant arachnid. Even though she wasn't.

"You realize it's not there" one of her co-workers says while they all laugh at her. Fear knows no reason.
