We knew it was only a matter of time before video games were re-appropriated for the stage. Spider-Man and Newsies have both been adapted for the stage, why not Pokemon?

This nearly 30 minute Pokemon ballet tribute performance is kind of amazing. Creighton University student Andrew Plotner turned the 1996 Nintendo Game Boy title Pokemon Red into a fully fleshed out performance. Who knew Ash was so light on his feet? Plotner gives a commanding performance as Gary Oak. Give a look and let us know how much you get through.
