One programmer was fired from his job after it was discovered he outsourced his work to people in another country so he could sit as his computer and watch cat videos. It seems like almost each week, a new animal star is born. We've gathered the 10 most famous animals on the Internet right now to make the search that much easier. Beast
The biggest name in social media right now owns a small Hungarian sheepdog named Beast. Go figure. Mark Zuckerberg's pet has its own Facebook account with over 1.4 million likes. Must be nice being one of the richest dogs on the planet.
Henri
Henrí went from being a shelter cat to the most philosophical and self-aware cat the internet has ever known - thanks to his owner, filmmaker L'Embecile Blanc. He's probably the only cat that will make you want to grab a bottle of wine and a cigarette after watching one of his videos.
Venus
Venus looks like the cat-incarnation of Batman's nemesis, Two-Face. One theory on how nature may have created her unique look: the black coloration was randomly activated in all the cells on one side of her face, while the orange coloration was activated on the other side. The two patches came together at the midline of her body as she developed.
Beyoncé
Check this: Beyonce the dog was able to fit on top of an iPhone when she was born. The strangely small puppy was born, her heart wasn't beating, and was resuscitated by staffers at the Grace Foundation. When asked why they named her Beyonce, a staffer replied, ""We wanted to give her a very strong person to aspire to be."

Giant George was once the world's tallest dog, before getting trumped by another Great Dame named Zeus. Xiao Liwu
Xiao Liwu, the baby panda living at the San Diego Zoo, was recently diagonosed with - wait for it - "acute cuteness" by the zoo staff. The cub, his mom and his three-year-old brother are on loan from the Chinese government. San Diego is only one of four places in America that houses giant pandas; the other three being in Atlanta, New York and Memphis.
Eddie
Eddie is a slam-dunking otter at the Oregon Zoo. Staff helped train the otter to do these basketball drills after x-rays revealed he had developed arthritis. One look at his skills and you'll know practice makes perfect. Who knows, he might be able to beat Dwight Howard at free-throws by next season.
Darwin
Darwin was introduced to the world while wearing a winter coat in a Canadian IKEA last year. The Japanese snow macaque monkey was roaming the furniture store for about an hour before animal control arrived. Within days after his capture, Darwin christened on Twitter when he was given his own parady account, @Ikea_Monkey, and its own video game where the player can control the monkey as it goes through an IKEA parking looking for tools and parts needed to assemble a shelf.
Grumpy Cat
If there is one feline that doesn't appear happy with Grumpy Cat's newfound fame, it's Grumpy Cat. The pictures of Grumpy Cat, whose real name is Tard (short for Tardar Sauce), were first posted on Reddit back in September of last year. Since then, the cat-turned-meme has had the whole world in its little paws.
Boo
Boo is not only the most famous animals on the Internet, he's one of the most popular animals in the world. In addition to having a Facebook page that boasts over six million likes, the Pomeranian, owned by a Facebook executive, is also the subject of two photo books. His Facebook bio says it all: "My name is Boo. I am a dog. Life is good."
