Police are searching for a man who robbed several Starbucks coffee shops and Subway restaurants in the West Valley by entering at closing time, asking for a job application and a glass of water before pulling out a gun and robbing the places. He's actually picked up the name the "Job App Bandit."

The crimes were committed between Sep. 2 and Nov. 10, and he hit four Starbucks, four Subway's a Coffee Bean and two others which outside of the LAPD's jurisdiction in Ventura and Burbank, but most likely related. Here's the LAPD's break down of the crime spree:

The suspect approaches these businesses when they are in the process of closing. The suspect asks for a job application or a glass of water and upon receiving the item, commits a robbery. The suspect simulates a handgun or brandishes it to the clerk, takes money from the registers and demands access to the safe. The suspect then flees the location on foot.

Maybe this is an Empire Records scenario, where if one of these places actually offers him a job, he'll end his streak of terror. Probably not though.
