This was about to be one hell of a party.

425 pounds of marijuana was found inside of a shipment of piñatas that was crossing the U.S.-Mexico border in Arizona last week. Police sniffed out the massive amount of drugs hiding out in a truck driven by a 24-year-old Juan Marcelo Armstrong, of Tucson. Armstrong didn't stuff the piñatas with weed, he simply hid it behind a false wall in the truck, then used the empty piñatas to throw people off.

It was a creative attempt, but still didn't fool authorities. Armstrong says he was paid $3,000 to smuggle the drugs into the U.S. He now faces charges of possession and intent to distribute. In other words, it wasn't worth it.
