Good news for those who were anxiously waiting the Munsters reboot, Mockingbird Lane, that NBC unfortunately axed before it ever saw the light of day (or, rather, the airwaves). According to The Hollywood Reporter, sources are saying that NBC will air the pilot of the series as a special this Halloween. The network reportedly declined to comment, but considering the investment that they put into the pilot - it cost $10 million to produce - it seems unlikely that this won't happen.

The pilot was written and produced by Pushing Daisies creator Bryan Fuller, directed by Bryan Singer, and starred Jerry O'Connell, Portia de Rossi, and Eddie Izzard.

Are you excited to finally see the pilot?
