Talk of Apple releasing a smaller iPad to compete with the likes of the Amazon Kindle Fire and the newly announced Google Nexus 7 tablet have been rekindled. Bloomberg is reporting that the Cupertino, CA. company is planning on dropping a smaller version of its best-selling tablet by year's end.
According to Bloomberg, the new iPad will have a 7-inch display, but, for some reason, it won't be a high-definition screen like the ones found on the iPhone and the new iPad.
What do you think? Will Apple, which currently commands 72% of the tablet market, buckle under the mounting pressure from Amazon and Google and release a tablet that directly competes with the Kindle Fire and Nexus 7?
