If you're looking for a place to express yourself on the Web, there is no shortage of options. You can subscribe to one of the many social networks, or you can sign up for a blogging service like WordPress. Or you can join Tumblr.
Founded by New Yorker David Karp in April of 2007, Tumblr has become one of the fastest growing blogging platforms on the Internet. Not only that, the service, which allows users to easily build "tumblogs", is also a social network. Sure, its user base pales in comparison to that of Twitter or Facebook, or even Blogger, but the company has been able to create a community all its own. A community that has birthed some of the most interesting and funny websites on the Net.
It's with that we decided to cull together our list of what we feel are the greatest Tumblrs ever created. We're sure there's going to be a lot more to come in the next five years, but for now, check out the 100 Best Tumblrs of All Time.
