7. Gilda Radner (1975-1980)
On the Saturday nights of yesteryear, if you ever happened to catch an episode of SNL with your folks, chances are high that they spent half the time struggling to understand the funniness of Chris Farley screaming in people's faces and stumbling into things, and the other lamenting the death of Gilda Radner.
A precursor to the Tina Feys and Molly Shannons of the show, Radner, one of the program's original and most beloved cast members, was viewed as one of the baddest chicks in comedy. Her main claim to fame? The frizzy-haired Rosanne Roseannadanna who loved nothing more than hating on New Jersey and rehashing grimy, TMI stories about celebrities on Weekend Update.
