Arnold Schwarzenegger and Sylvester Stallone are ready to duke it out over their "last stand". No, we're not talking about their last, mutually fleeting shot at stardom: The two both have new projects with the title The Last Stand.
While the former governator is not reviving his iconic Terminator franchise (he's not back, yet!), he is making a much-anticipated comeback in the new action flick, The Last Stand, which is set for a January 2013 release.
Similarly, the fifth and (hopefully final) Rambo installment, which was recently completed by screenwriter Sean Hood, has recently been titled Rambo: The Last Stand. Although Hood has been collaborating with Stallone on the close of the saga, Stallone has yet to confirm he's signed on.
But before either of these go down, the two will be making their return in 2012 for The Expendables 2. A possible on-set throwdown between two ex-action superstars? Now that's something we'd pay to watch.
