Jumio, a company that allows you to sign up to accept credit cards online, has unveiled a new system, Netswipe, which turns your webcam into a credit card swiper. In doing so, Netswipe supposedly reduces theft of credit card numbers from insecure forms and website spoofing. You’re still screwed if someone physically jacks your card.
