The Municipal Art Society of New York celebrates the city via tours throughout various neighborhoods focusing on the architecture, history, and culture of the areas. This Sunday they'll focus on Bedford-Stuyvesant and will guide a group through the largest African-American community in NYC.
Bedstuy has produced leaders of popular culture like Chris Rock, Spike Lee, and a laundry list of legendary emcees like Jay-Z, Biggie, Mos Def, and many more. The walk will focus on Hancock St. and surrounding blocks, and the meet-up place will be given upon registration.
