17. JENNIFER LAWRENCE AS NORA IN THE BEAVER (2011)

If we were soft and gave a damn about such things as female empowerment and defying women’s stereotypes, we’d talk in detail about how Jennifer Lawrence’s character in The Beaver is some kind of positive role model. You know, because she’s a sexually desirable cheerleader who’s also incredibly smart and eloquent.

But, alas, we don’t have time for any of that sissy shit (chest bump!). While some who pay to see Mel Gibson play with his hand puppet might gain some pro-chick insight, we’ll be too busy dreaming up naughty scenarios that combine Lawrence with the words “hand” and “beaver.” Sorry, Jodie Foster, but you never stood a chance.
