The Seattle International Film Festival starts this weekend and runs into June, so there’s tons to see for the next month or so. Closing out the weekend is a screening of the new film from Japanese director Takeshi Kitano.
With his trademark style, Kitano outlines a familiar tale of Yakuza mob vengeance with some updated gore. There’s also a lot of yelling. If you need to take a break from your workday at some point, give yourself 50 seconds to check out the trailer, which has no subtitles; everyone in the film is so angry! Should be fun.—Finn Cohen
