Six years after the original was released, Bethesda Softworks will release Prey 2 in 2012 for Xbox 360, PS3, and PC. The game will be developed by Human Head Studios (the same guys behind the original) on id Software's latest engine iteration, id Tech 5 (which id's upcoming Rage and Doom 4 are also utilizing). More details on the game will be revealed in the May issues of Official Xbox Magazine and PlayStation: The Official Magazine. In the meantime, let's all just agree to try to muster up some enthusiasm for yet another shooter about fending off an alien invasion. Or not. Y'know, either way.
