There's no shortage of iPod docks on the market. No matter your budget, no matter your interests, no matter your design predilection, there's an iPod dock out there for you. But that doesn't mean all of them are good. On the absolute contrary—a lot of of them are crappy sounding, poorly constructed, eyesores. So when we come across one that appears to be the opposite of all that, we get excited. And today we got amped when we saw the WALdok.

A mini dock for all iDevices, the WALdok plugs directly into the wall and charges your iPod or iPhone while pumping music through its speaker. According to its creator, Hern Kim, the 40mm driver and "Bass Chamber" produce enough sound to adequately fill a room.  We'll have to take his word for it, since as of now it's only a prototype.

Kim is trying to raise $30,000 on Kickstarter to fund its production. He's currently at $12,894. We hope he's able to raise enough dough to get it made, 'cause it's one of the dopest docks we've seen in a while—especially when paired with a new Nano. For more info and images head over to the Kickstarter page.
