Watching the Watchmen on 23rd St, NYC (2/3)

We turn our cameras on surveillance cameras and give 'em a taste of their own medicine.

Since we first started capturing the devices that capture us, we've seen lots of variety: big cameras, small cameras, bulky cameras, spherical eyeball cameras—all kinds. So scouting the streets today, we came across what has to be the most busted looking camera still recording footage yet. Tucked inside the awning for the Garden of Eden at 162 West 23rd is this little bastard. The plastic case is discolored and the entire apparatus appears thick with dust and grime. In fact, this camera is such a wreck, it's hard to believe it could still be functioning. Maybe we should rethink this whole watchmen thing. Unless of course this is all part of their plan...
