Now that high-definition TVs are as American as apple pie and foreclosures, companies are clamoring to make some extra cake off of our HD and 3D fixations. Ubisoft is the latest company to put some paint where it ain’t, today announcing the release of remastered Splinter Cell and Prince of Persia titles that now feature HD and 3D upgrades. Splinter Cell fans can pick up a a Blu-ray disc of the stealth series' past titles that includes Splinter Cell, Splinter Cell: Pandora Tomorrow, and Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory. The PoP bundle will feature Prince of Persia: the Sands of Time, Prince of Persia: Warrior Within, and Prince of Persia: the Two Thrones.

Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell Classic Trilogy HD and Prince of Persia Classic Trilogy HD will drop March 22 for $40, and are also available for download via the PlayStation Network. Don't worry, that tax refund check should be coming along riiiiight about then.
