Since the emergence of social media, artist/label disputes have become a much more public affair, and the latest to share a look behind the curtain is Wavves’ Nathan Williams.

Williams released a new song called “Way Too Much,” and according to him, his label Warner Bros. Records wanted to take the song down. Williams responded by threatening to put out the entire album if they took the song down, and then he went on to tell his label that he doesn’t care if he gets sued or dropped.

He described the situation as “nauseating,” saying that people who only see him as money want to call the shots. He also shared the title and cover to his album, which is called v. All of this came through a series of tweets from Williams, directed at Warner Bros., who hasn’t responded to any of the tweets yet.
